About Data Processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where and how it is stored, which security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.

Website Software
WordPress
Our website is developed with WordPress software via Mooi Online. Personal data you provide for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Mooi Online has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, but will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Mooi Online is obliged to take appropriate security measures. Mooi Online uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web Hosting
Mooi Online
We use the web hosting and email services of Mooi Online. Mooi Online processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. This party may collect metadata about the use of the services; these are not personal data. Mooi Online has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Mooi Online is bound by confidentiality under the agreement.

Email
Mooi Online
We use the services of Mooi Online for our regular business email traffic. This party has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Mooi Online does not have access to our inbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Purpose of Data Processing

General Purpose of Processing
We only use your data for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the processing of your data is always directly related to the assignment you provide to us. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you later for purposes other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality under the agreement with us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. These data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal data.

Compliance with Tax and Criminal Investigations
In certain cases, Mooi Online may be legally required to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such cases, we are forced to share your data, but we will resist within the limits of the law.

Retention Periods
We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you make this request, we will also treat it as a request to be forgotten. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data for as long as the applicable term requires. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents created in response to your assignment.

Your Rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them. As a rule, and to prevent misuse, we only send copies or transcripts of your data to the email address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or by post, we will ask you to provide proof of identity. We keep a record of completed requests; in the case of a request for erasure, we record anonymized data. All copies and transcripts of data will be provided in the machine-readable format we use within our systems. You are entitled at any time to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are misusing your personal data.

Right to Rectification
You always have the right to have the data we (have) process(ed) that relates to you corrected. You can submit such a request to our privacy officer. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been amended.

Right to Restriction of Processing
You always have the right to restrict the processing of data that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit such a request to our privacy officer. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation that your data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to Data Portability
You always have the right to have the data we (have) process(ed) that relates to you or can be traced back to you transferred to another party. You can submit such a request to our privacy officer. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will provide copies of all data processed about you by us or on our behalf. In such a case, we will likely no longer be able to continue our services, as secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to Object and Other Rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Mooi Online. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing pending the outcome of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will make copies of your data available to you and permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that this right applies. If you believe otherwise, please contact our privacy officer.
